Itinerary
Upon arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, guests will be warmly met and assisted before proceeding with a comfortable transfer to the hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and recover from the journey. Overnight stay in Tbilisi.
After breakfast and hotel check-out, depart towards Kazbegi via the scenic Georgian Military Highway. En route, visit the historic Ananuri Fortress, offering panoramic views of the Zhinvali Reservoir. Continue through the Aragvi Valley with a photo stop at the famous Gudauri Ski Resort. Upon arrival in Kazbegi, enjoy an adventurous 4x4 jeep excursion to Gergeti Trinity Church, set dramatically against the Caucasus Mountains (subject to weather conditions). Transfer to the hotel, check-in, and rest. Overnight stay in Gudauri.
After breakfast and check-out, proceed to Mtskheta, one of Georgia’s oldest cities and its former capital. Visit the UNESCO-listed Jvari Monastery, followed by Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a sacred landmark deeply rooted in Georgia’s Christian heritage and traditions. After sightseeing, transfer back to Tbilisi. Overnight stay in Tbilisi.
Following breakfast, enjoy a comprehensive city tour of Tbilisi. Begin at Rike Park, then take the cable car to Narikala Fortress for sweeping views over the Old City. Walk through charming historic streets adorned with traditional balconies and grapevine courtyards, passing the city’s only mosque. Continue through the scenic gorge to the city’s hidden waterfall, and explore Abanotubani, the historic sulfur bath district. Cross the iconic Bridge of Peace, visit Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and pass by the famous Clock Tower of Rezo Gabriadze Theatre. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
